LandstarOne supports day-to-day freight operations for Landstar owner-operators and third-party carriers. I hold end-to-end technical responsibility for its Android application, connecting architecture, reliability, modernization, and delivery planning.

A business-critical application with continuous delivery demands.
LandstarOne brings load search, fuel information, booked loads, and other operating tools into one mobile product. For its users, Android is not an isolated interface: it is part of how daily freight decisions and workflows are carried out.
The engineering challenge is to modernize a mature application without separating architecture work from reliability, release continuity, and the operational needs of the product.
One technical path from assessment to implementation.
Technical audit
I independently assessed the Android application, its architecture, delivery constraints, and modernization opportunities. The audit produced a six-month roadmap grounded in product and engineering priorities.
Roadmap to backlog
I work with stakeholders to turn that roadmap into a prioritized, actionable backlog, so architectural improvements and regular product delivery move through the same planning system.
End-to-end Android responsibility
My scope covers Android technical decisions from architecture and stack modernization to release quality and production reliability. The goal is not a one-off rewrite, but a maintainable path for continuous improvement.

Modernization becomes a delivery system, not a separate initiative.
The engagement has established a clear technical direction for Android and a practical mechanism for converting that direction into planned work. At the current measurement point, Firebase reports 99.96% crash-free users for the Android product. This is a product-wide reliability indicator across the application and team, not an outcome attributable to my work alone.
