Founder case study · Full-stack mobile delivery

A mobile product owned from idea to launch.

HailMe is a geofenced arrival-alert product. I founded it and built the product system end to end: mobile clients, backend, infrastructure, release, compliance, and operations.

Product
Geofenced arrival alerts

The app was only one part of the system.

The product needed to recognize arrivals in the background, make places easy to find, authenticate users, and deliver useful alerts through several channels. It also had to survive app-store review, messaging-provider rules, infrastructure constraints, and real operating costs.

That made this a product and systems problem—not simply an Android or iOS implementation.

One technical path across product, backend, and mobile.

Product and architecture

I took HailMe from discovery through launch, owning product definition, mobile and backend architecture, infrastructure, store delivery, vendor decisions, and day-to-day operation.

Android and iOS clients

I built the shared mobile experience with Compose Multiplatform, including background geofencing, maps, address search, authentication, and the user flows around arrival monitoring.

Backend and delivery

I built the Ktor backend and the delivery paths for push, SMS, and WhatsApp, then handled store policy, provider compliance, release trade-offs, and infrastructure costs.

A production product with one accountable owner.

The result is a launched product whose architecture, user experience, backend, delivery channels, and operational trade-offs were developed as one system rather than handed between disconnected teams.
