Modernizing fitness experiences at product scale.

A multi-year contribution to iFIT’s move from Xamarin toward native Android across phones, tablets, and connected-equipment consoles.

Path
Xamarin → Native Android

A mature platform with more than one Android surface.

The modernization covered consumer mobile experiences and connected fitness equipment. Changes had to work across different screen sizes, hardware integrations, media behavior, and release constraints while the existing product continued to ship.

Deep platform work inside a long-running migration.

Media reliability

I improved ExoPlayer behavior through playback fixes, closed-caption support, and custom video-scaling modes across mobile devices and equipment consoles.

Connected equipment

I built Bluetooth LE console integration and Health Connect synchronization end to end, and contributed Kotlin Multiplatform SDK components for live equipment telemetry.

Modernization delivery

Across more than 580 merged pull requests, I contributed implementation, review, release support, and technical-debt reduction throughout the move toward native Android.
